Trial Musings 12: Young Bucks In Court II

There was another escort on the stand yesterday...looks like this one did some damage to Harlow, however:

"Adam Greibier said he worked for Cuadra and Kerekes as an escort and appeared in one of their adult films titled, “Young Bucks In Heat II.” Greibier described their relationship as a “joint power,” and they wanted Lockhart for their adult film business.

“It would definitely bring their company to a new level,” Greibier said, if Cuadra and Kerekes produced movies with Lockhart. “It was general knowledge that Cobra Video was the leading seller of gay adult films.”"
On that "general knowledge" point, see here.

It looks like the clients are more inclined to tow the defense line, portraying Joe as having this Manson-like hold over Harlow; while the escorts are not so cooperative, leaning more towards a "joint power" relationship. IMO, the prosecution needs to call more escorts. To the stand, that is.

BTW, does anyone know what Mr. Greibier's porn name was? And was YBIH2 ever released (I can't seem to find it)?

I am stuck on this Mitch Halford thing.
Here is a man - well to do, older, has probably made [continues to make] a decent life/living for himself and he is "in love with" Harlow-
not "fond of fucking" Harlow but IS IN LOVE with Harlow.
A murderer- who mr Halford KNOWS is a murderer, but BELIEVES Harlow did it because Joe "was the more dominant one in the relationship"
Now, there is no more ass in this for Mr Halford, that ass is gone-
but he will continue to "love" Harlow and will stay enamored because of the ass he once paid for.
Harlow was very good at what he did and continues to be good at it now-
Mr Halford looked distressed on the news [thank you will]-
having to say anything against Harlow and says he loves him, and Harlow said he "loves him too"-
Yes Harlow needs and will need canteen money for a very long time.
Mitch has a lot to look forward too,
years of love letters,
the memories-
This is too weird!!!!

One more thing on my mind here :)
Back in the beginning of this I read some "Escort Reviews" on Joe and Harlow on some site- evidentally they recieved rave reviews from people who purchased their services-
I believe it now-
Some people did not believe it back then, saying maybe it was BS on this "review site"
No, I think they [at least Harlow] was an excellent prostitute.
I can understand how Harlow got men to "fall in love with him" you just have to have the look and be a con artist-
but I do not understand how you can get it up-
get an erection and have [what could pass for] sex with someone you are totally unattracted to-
?????
This is my morning mystery. :)
I will ponder this on my way to work.

VJ, have you seen the WNEP broadcast from yesterday, when the reporter in the hall asks Harlow about Halford? I linked it in an Update on the Halford/Nep thread below.

Harlow says he loves Halford too...except it comes out between clenched teeth, w/o a shread of emotion.

Like I said, I think the prosecutors will use these zombie clients to show Harlow was a little vixen who excelled at manipulating people and emotions.

Perhaps they will try to argue it was Harlow who actually dominated Joe.

Jim,
I saw that, yes.
It puts alot in perspective-
The "look" that Harlow has "worked" on for this trial-
it all now looks phony-
really phony.

Consumate con artist [Harlow]-
it's this guy [Halford] and men like him - that have me a bit baffled- [just lonely guys I guess].
even nep- [well maybe nep does not count]-
they think Harlow cares for them?

I cannot imagine that the jury is falling for this?
this staged "act" of Harlows,
the whole trial is an act for Harlow-
just like having sex with men old enough to be his father and making them think he cares for them,
all an act.

jim this trial is stranger than I thought it was going to be.

"jim this trial is stranger than I thought it was going to be."

Yeah. Fortunately it has not gotten this dramatic.

Yes Jim, V.J. saw that news video because I sent it to him. I wanted to be sure he didn't miss the very brief cameo by a witness at the 1:34 mark. Did everybody else catch it?

VJ and Jim--

I did say Harlow and Joe were grifters, con men, at base. A lot of act was involved especially on Harlow's side.

Harlow gets client praise while Joe gets client indifference.

I do think the clenched teeth remark hits home how an escort might really feel about certain clients, not necessarily all of them.

Also, the clenched teeth remark raises an interesting question about the nature of the argument/quarrel/misunderstanding between Harlow and Joe as witnessed by two of their compelled service escorts/film models. Perhaps, Harlow was the more realistic and practical one trying to explain why Lockhart's acquisition was necessary after all Harlow had been billing himself as a perpetual 19 year old and the glamour, novelty, and fantasy of that prime age was beginning to wear thin thanks to gravity and time. As VJ said elsewhere Harlow may have been very ready to hang up the satin/silk bedsheets for a more realistic existence and without the constant verbal and emotional tirades of Joe/Marc/Trent. That's a lot of personality to deal with on a daily basis.

Elm is the encyclopedia of all things Harlow. You should consult him on YBiH2. He claims to have downloaded some of there films.

I agree Jim, the two clients saying what they said in court seems only on the surfaxce to be a positive thing. It speaks of a con game, and that is the last thing the defense needs or wants the jury to hear.
