Yes, that was a really bad boo-boo, and I think you said it right, it ruined him in the eyes of a generation who may not have known about his fraud. It connected the dots in a public setting, rather than just a fringe obscure website out there few even know about.
And yes, the year, month, and week are all starting off really bad for DK at Night. It is all unraveling now for Kruzer ain't it.
And it does not matter who he really is, or who is behind the site, because the damage came from within, and spread outward.

It's more of an eternal struggle, unfortunately. The problem being, new porn stars enter the industry every month, and not knowing better...answer Kent's mail.
That's how new porn boys get snared. They either arn't warned about Kent, or, fail to heed warnings.
Then they start email correspondence with Kent, with Kent continually trying to extract confidential info...then boom, before you know it, the poor kid is an extortion victim of Kent. "Feed me info, consent to interviews, allow me to piggyback off your fame to make me look like a legitimate player in this industry...or else."
That's basically the scam.
MJ seems pretty lucky; he wised up before he sent Kent too many emails. What little Kent got appears inconsequential.

Jim, speaking of lawyers, things got interesting at the trial today.
I do recall a particular personage informing everyone that innocent, harmless Cuadra arrived at Kocis' home to find the door ajar and a dead, bloody Kocis prostrate from a mortal wound and that former Navy corpsman Cuadra, who was carrying a cell phone, terrified fled the scene.
Obviously, this flies in the face of Cuadra's words in the BBT's and CCT's. Moreover, Sean Ernesto Macias, an LA lawyer who represented Kocis in his civil suit against Sean and Grant testified today. Macias' testimony reflects the BBT's. From his testimony courtesy of the Times Leader:
"Attorney Sean Ernesto Macias, of Los Angeles, California, testified that he was speaking with Kocis on January 24, 2007, when Kocis set the phone down and answered his door.
'He seemed to be in a good mood,' Macias said from the witness stand. 'My conversation was brief with him; he said he was expecting a guest that day, a model or something.'
'He went to answer the door, it sounded like he put the phone down and said Hello, the name started with a D,'" Macias said.
This does not jive with the Cuadra pulls into Kocis' driveway, finds the door ajar, and a dead body scenario. Not even close. It does confirm what Cuadra says Kocis did do--invite Cuadra into his home.
As for a nonfinancial motive to this murder, crapolla.
Justin Hensley testified today and as reported by the Citizens' Voice Justin Hensley said "'that Harlow Cuadra and his partner Joseph Kerekes made more than $10,000 per week on their gay male prostitution business in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Hensley was a former escort" for the pair.
How did Hensley come to work for Cuadra and Kerekes: Justin Hensley testified that "he started working for Cuadra in April 2005 because he was very poor. When he worked for them, Cuadra and Kerekes wouldn’t let him leave their home for long, because they wanted him to be available at all times for potential clients."
Sounds like Justin was a glorified indentured servant, known more simply as, a bond slave (no bondage S&M reference intended). And all that good ole beaus Harlow and Joe wanted was a human hour meter and ATM in Hensley. How thoughtful to give him only a 30 minute sandwich break. To blow another pat theory out of the water, household pets are treated better than Cuadra and Kerekes treated Andrew Shunk and Justin Hensley.
Hensely: “I could only leave for a short lunch,” he said.
It is quite clear that Cuadra killed Kocis, a rival producer of gay pornography, to further his own gay pornography business and improve his and Kerekes' Net Cashflow and Working Capital.
The Times Leader adds the following detail from Justin Hensley's testimony that the former escort of Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes said he earned $225 working as an escort."
Justin Hensley's testimony addresses the financial motive (from the Times Leader}:
"Justin Hensley said he resided with Cuadra and Kerekes, and knew they wanted to film movies with Sean Lockhart, an actor in gay pornographic films.
'They would definately profit a lot of money,' Hensely said if Cuadra produced films that featured Lockhart.
Hensley worked for Cuadra and Kerekes out of financial necessity: "Hensley is currently engaged to a woman, said Cuadra and Kerekes earned $225 per hour and up to $10,000 a week in their escort business in Virginia Beach. Hensley testified that clients to the escort business included a US Senator, government contractors working for the US Military, and physicians."
Their motive according to Hensley: "He said Cuadra and Kerekes wanted to make more money so they expanded into pornographic films." Pure financial gree.
"The only statements that I heard Cuadra say was Cobra Video is a main rival," Hensley said.
Hensley testified "he was aware that Cuadra met Lockhart, known in the industry as Brent Corrigan, at an adult video news award ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada, in mid-January."
Absolutely no word on any other meetings real or imagined between Sean and Harlow. Not a surprise really.
Why would Justin leave the Tom Cat Bordello: The Times Leader reports that Hensley said he left the home of Cuadra and Kerekes because Cuadra and Kerekes "wanted me to stay there and work all the time and not have a social life. I was only allowed to leave on the weekends and if I went out to get a sandwich, I had to come right back."
That is hardly the benevolent considerate behavior of business owners concerned about the health and safety of their staff.
Again, Justin Hensley's testimony underscores the reliability of the BBT's and the information it contains.

Taken together with Justin admitting Joe was indeed the more forceful one in the relationship (right?) I'd have to say the defense scored some major points here with Justin.
The local papers are really only giving one side of the story, seems to me...w/o you giving the details on the cross-examination, I would have come to a diametrically opposite conclusion. So thanks, VERY interesting....

Well, Hensley did say Joe was more talk than really follow through type. He only heard Joe shove Harlow once, and it was not a hard punch. He was in the other room, but could tell by the sound of it (voice), he was shoved.
The gun detail was not covered in too much detail because I think Hensley was in another room. He only heard them fighting, and then the gun. It really was the point where he knew the time was up to move. But he still worked part time for them after, I think for a few more months.
But yes, they are having big success showing who was the mean boss was at the bordello, and who was willing to show violence. It's the BBTs and CCTs, and stuff like that where it will not be as easy.
The defense has been giving many objections, and not winning many, but at least trying. At one point I think defense atty. went too far in cross exam. a witness, and really risked irking the jury. The witness kept saying I don't know, I don't work in that dept. She stated it at least five times before he quit. He just was trying to show that billing info was not available, and used her to hammer it home is what I think. Not really relevant anyway.
