Another Brent Auction

I don't know why, but these periodic Brent clothing auctions have never ceased to mesmerize me. They always miraculously manage to come out simultaneously or just prior to someone saying Brent's "sell-by date" has passed, making me wonder whether Brent has a little guardian angel on his shoulder telling him when he should run these things, for maximum irony effect; heh!

This time around, he's got a pair of very old threadbare boxers and a shirt, both of which he wore with Brent Everett in Schoolboy Crush. Plus, you get a signed copy of Brent Corrigan's Summit plus a signed copy of his next movie, being planned in Hawaii I guess. And two signed prints, suitable for framing.

I'll try to keep track of and update the progress of this auction in the Update section below. The auction ends at 6pm PST, Friday March 7th.

Oops I see Prince William is bidding again!

You sure that's not actually Daddy Darby? :-)

I was talking to Mr.Bjorn(Puppy) Darby (Ffoulkes) is still free I guess(for now) and has a 27 yo BF too.

Again, a reminder: If you really want to make a Kent Barclay related comment, I have a nice on topic post for that, only 3 posts down, entitled "LOL! of the Day."

Of course, there are 0 posts on that topic thus far, which tells me folks here arn't that interested in Kent Barclay. Yeah, imagine that. Better yet, perhaps, would be to post it over at Bud Foxx's site, the premier site for all discussions concerning Kent Barclay. An excellent site; I highly recommend it!

"Bop (Mon Mar 3 13:37:19 2008) - $400.00
Bop (Mon Mar 3 16:12:18 2008) - $447.00"

Bop wants it so bad he is bidding against himself!

(NOTE: This is actually not as odd as it appears, as Brent as this $50 maximum bid increment rule in place)

Jim--

You are better than Sotheby's Auction House in terms of reporting to the minute bids.

Just out of curiosity, for those of us who simply wish to make an unrestricted donation to Sean and his latest film project, is there a particular way to contact the young director?

jim said...

I guess you could reach him thru his web site.

Don't let us all down dewayne. Cough up that lung! lol

Ah, 1066...the year of the Norman Conquest.

It is funny,
I got my feelings hurt,
last night 2 of my bids were thrown out,
I did not realize that you could only bid up 49.99.
Brent has a super cute culie [bum] and that is enough to spark my bid attention but if I win I am going to see if he will redo the auction for me and make a donation of those winnings to his local Humane society.

Oh, I will keep the movie though! :)

Had to make a small correction. You can mail him at

Brent Corrigan
4809 Clairemont Dr. #308
San Diego, CA, 92117

Don't worry guy's. That is not his physical address. It is like a P.O. Box.

Wow over my limit already! 1K
The shirt is the price kicker you can see him with that shirt on You Tube.
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=bP4OSLalPUk

The only clip from that video thats legal ;-)

Brent was such a skinny gawky kid I remember watching Schoolboy the first time thinking Brent Everett was my idea of perfection then you notice the way Sean looks at Brent and you see he thinks the same thing. Teen hero worship. Sean clearly idolized Brent Everett!

I posted a few pix and observations about that shirt on my Blog,,thanks for the idea Jim Is this Viral Blogging or what!

Wow,
Just glancing over to Brents blog- there is this one bidder who wants the boxers so bad he looks forward to the time that he can be buried in them.

jim said...

M'kay. :-)

Anonymous said...

jim what does m'kay mean?

jim said...

You know, thats how Mr. Mackay of South Park says "OK."

Oh, I have never seen that show.
Reading about the fan who wanted the boxers so bad made me think. "I have never been into shorts before" and then a memory hit me like a ton of bricks.
I hope you do not mind my sharing it. It was when I was younger and I was booked for a trip to the Seychelle Islands to do a Giorgio Armani Campaign. Well that was all well and good but it happened to be with this male model- well, the number one male model in the world at that time, he was the face of Armani, the first male to get a million dollar contract for his portrait to be used in the Armani cologne campain [Jens Peter]. Anyway he happened to be the most breathakingly beautiful man I had ever seen in pictures and we were to work together and share the same room. Sometimes on trips to those small Islands we had to share rooms. I was feeling really inadequate, insecure etc. me? and him working together?
I arrived at the hotel, went to the room and Jens had already arrived and was out at the water, just his white briefs lying on the bed.
He must have worn them all the way from Milan to Africa-
I stayed a bit in the room before heading to the beach. :)
That was my one and only "brief" experience.

Albert said...

Well, v.j., I can't say I have had such a 'brief' experience myself but it was a fun read. Thanks. You know D and I are number one fans of Brent. However the person I refer to as my most beautiful friend is Octavier. If you didn't catch it, you can read about him here,
http://dewayneinsd.blogspot.com/2006/11/octavier-williams-interview.html
This may turn out to be Brent's most profitable auction to date. Nice to see so many caring fans,... with money. :)

JC Adams mentions us both and Brent!
Talk about VIRAL Blogging round and round we go! ;-)

DeWayne In San Diego said...

Jim I asked Brent he confirms this is a record ($1300 was the prev) for a an auction of clothing!

Looks like VJ is hot for this shirt ;-)

jim said...

Yeah thats my impression too; the shirt having been so prominently displayed in SC, is probably the chief draw of the auction (slightly more so than the shorts).

Anonymous said...

jim,
remember there is one guy :) who wants those shorts so bad he will be buried in them. For him, I believe the draw is the shorts. LOL :))~
'cuz it is an auction in progress & I am in it, I won't say what attracts me most-
But it is along the lines of a B.C. gesture of support!!!

Anonymous said...

This is strange,
The bid I placed early this afternoon 1,640.00 was accepted and then a couple of hours later was taken down ?
I am confused??
Doesn't Brent know I am sensitive :))

jim said...

I believe that bid was exactly one penny over the limit. :-)

Anonymous said...

Oh, thanks jim-
I thought maybe he did not want me to bid.

Albert said...

v.j. It is a vast libertarian, middle of the road conspiracy.
The under lying goal is to preserve the penny at all costs. :)

Anonymous said...

albert,
You crack me up! :)
BTW, I did read your interview with Octavier, he is a very handsome guy.
You had mentioned he is interested in getting into modelling. Although it has been awhile since I was in that business, should Octavier have any questions that I may be able to help him with, do not hesitate to ask.

DeWayne In San Diego said...

I think the Final bid was $1984.00

Congratulations Brent Corrigan on your highly successful auction!

Wishing you the best!
