You can read the whole blog entry here, but it's interesting that the blog author lists fellow AGS-GGW actor Jonah Blechman (aka 'Miko') as his lover; I wasn't even aware they were an item!
Of course, he signs off every one of his blog posts "Your friend and lover," so, perhaps in that sense we are all Brent's lovers (including me). :-)
Anyways, this photo appears to be from the San Diego protest Saturday before last, mentioned briefly in Brent's last post (before jetting off to New York) that he was too pooped to write about yet.

It's rather adventurous for the Hillcrest Blog to describe two people its correspondent meets on a public street as lovers unless they volunteered that information, but Brent could do worse.
Although I don't doubt their sincerity about the anti-8 cause, I think that Brent and Jonah mingling with a huge crowd of potential viewers and video customers and getting their names and the name of their film into a related news story counts as promotion for AGS just days before its direct-to-DVD release.

Yeah, as I implied, this "lover" thing sounded a bit fishy to me (merman pun not intended).
I think this blogger/reporter (who did not really know them) just ran into Brent and Jonah on this overpass during the protest, saw them protesting together, and just made some assumptions...that would be my guess.
Seems to me a minor infraction, to go calling for a full-fledged retraction.
The thing is, this Hillcrest Blog does a big song and dance above its flag proclaiming its membership in professional journalism organizations as an appeal to authority, and then its reporter goes out and misspells the name and mistakes the relationship of a public figure. It's not damaging, but it's not competent reporting, either. The photo is not complementary of Jonah, in my opinion. Maybe he had a late Friday night. He could use some Prep-H on the bags under his eyes.

Well, you know how the internet grapevine is. You've already featured this story here, and since Brent and Jonah are both well known, it's liable to pick up some more steam in the coming days. That just seems silly if it's a complete falsehood, which it appears to be.

The only person who is apt to be mislead by this is a certain serial plagerizer, IMO. No harm there, really, except making the plagerizer look foolish.
Well, despite what I said about this story spreading and gaining traction, we can be thankful that, now that Damon has stolen it, people know it can't be true.

Well, in fairness to Kent, what he writes these days is not so much due to mental infirmity, as it is an conscious and calculated act in furtherence of a long established extortion racket.
Kent has demanded of Brent interviews, information and cooperation or else, and Brent (as have Gavin Braun, Angel Skye, Brad Star, and many other before and after him) has told him he can go fuck himself.
So, what we see now is the promised retribution in the form of libel, for not bowing to the extortion demand and "playing ball."
That's why the Cybersocket article is irksome to me. His site is not a "guilty pleasure" as that moron of a columnist seems to think; it is an active and ongoing criminal enterprise. One that is being currently investigated by the Computer Crimes Task Force of the Boston Police Department (and perhaps other law enforcement agenicies as well)
And by promoting the site, Cybersocket has now become a co-conspirator in this ongoing criminal enterprise.
You mean promoting AGS on both coasts, not to diminish their sincerity about the political issue. Is Round Trip Ticket on Logo still in production? The episodes I see on the program guide say 2006. Logo could certainly use some fresh material. I think a San Diego travelogue with Brent Corrigan would be cute. He would be shouting over the traffic noise from the 52 and the jet noise from Miramar just like in the Kurt Wild scene in Just the Sex.
