Since the trial, newsworthy events related to Harlow and Joe have been few and far between. To my knowledge, there has been no new post-game interviews with any of the trial participants; about the only thing of interest lately has been the filing of a rather minimalistic one-page, one-sentence appeal on Harlow's behalf. Yawn.
About the only thing remotely interesting left to follow is the very public lives of Brent and Grant, as they continue their relentless post-trial drive to normalcy. More normal than the past three years, at any rate. And they got another clear sign of their widespread acceptance into the gay porn industry with seven Grabby award nominations:

It's actually a bit tougher to get a Grabby nomination than a GAYVN, as the Grabbys sensibly limit each catagory to six nominees. And of course, Brent will be co-hosting on stage as well (see flyer above).
And Brent and Prodigy continue to produce DVDs. Just the Sex 2 (The Directors Cut) came out last week, and debuted ("DE") solidly within the Top 20 (as opposed to, say, debuting barely within the Top 20); pretty impressive for a film most fans mostly have a copy of already, I guess:
The Big Easy is supposed to be released later this month; it'll be interesting to see how well that does as well.And finally, Brent's website is due for a complete redesign, which will include, at long last, an online pay Members section (in which this time, hopefully, they'll actually get paid). Thus a dream of starting that online porn site that began about 3 years ago will see fulfilment, now that pesky little speedbumps like PayPal blocking lawsuits and murder trials are finally out of the way.
My life is on a course for a return to normalcy too. I'm still on schedule for a final bow on Arrest Day (May 15). I guess the only thing left to do is to give this blog a neat, tidy ending; and write that Jerry Springeresque "Final Thought" post I've been planning.
And yo, I actually have quite a few final thoughts to share. I'm still organizing them in my head right now. So, what I think I'm going to do is take a little vacation next week; to relax, reflect, and gather those two-years worth of thought together. Perhaps I send in a post or two while on my trip, if I can get internet access...we'll see. Then when I get back, we'll wrap things up. Until then...

Update 2: Chat with Brent. Well sort of; if you read the fine print it's through someone else, actually: "...the more unique and potentially revealing your question is, the better chance you have of being heard."
Update 3: Another Brent auction. BTW, I personally own the same exact type of 2(x)ist underwear, and I can vouch for it's quality; this brand and style is one of the most durable and comfortable underwear I've ever owned. I'm wearing such a pair now in fact, as I type this; although they are burgundy and not green. And no, they are not for sale.

I'm confused, as usual. The Grabby nominees list was announced back in March, yet I see they are just now being posted again here and other places (ATKOL). Or am I caught in a time warp?
Have a great vacation Jim. You know, I sure hope you don't pull a disappearing act altogether when this blog is done. There will be other porn stars making dubious claims of rape, and trolls masquerading as "porn bloggers" who need to be exposed. Yours is a very valued voice of sanity amidst all the madness. Please don't abandon us completely!
I'm going to have a "reunion" here every year; just an open thread for everyone to come back and say "hi."
I was thinking of doing it every Arrest Day, but perhaps Victory Day (March 12) would be more festive and appropriate now?
I dunno what's up with the Grabby's; maybe they just like to make lots of announcements.
Couldn't happen to a nicer fellow. I wonder how he would have reacted if the customs officer had pulled on a rubber glove (schn-a-a-a-p) and lubed it. Like inseminating a cow, I guess.
I think I'll leave comments open until the end of May; that way, if we want to comment on the Grabby results (which are on the 23rd) or any other final matter, we will all have roughly two weeks to do so.
Will I understand the confusion over the Grabby nomination list. I think they were simply reissuing the list to get an extra bump of publicity after the GayVN Awards.

I dont envy you, of all Bloggers the task of writing this post. I wrestled with the idea of what to write, what to say at the conclusion of the trial.
I was very fortunate that Kevin Clarke stepped in with his excellent article.
I think at some point I may still write a post about the last 5 years of the Brent Corrigan Story from my vantage point here on Clairmont Mesa.
As for Michael Lucas I am sure Canadian Customs "Knew" who he was, they knew Mason Wyler too and he was refused entry back last summer.
Its all reciprocal anyway US AND Canadian Customs Officers are VENAL Little Bitchs, been that way forever.
