While in a recent blog post Brent seems to think he is not popular, Jason Curious registers a dissenting opinion.
He has just declared Brent the 2nd Most Popular Man (in porn, gay or str8) for 2007.
Caleb Carter was declared 1st Most Popular.
Now, the system Jason seems to use for "voting" is interesting; it is based on raw number of video and still photo downloads from his site, from it's paying members.
Caleb Carter has "1 hour of video and 434 photos" on Jason's site. Runner-up Brent has "176 photos."
So, lets say I am a fan of one of the boys featured on Jason's site. Naturally, I'll want to download all the video and pics my membership fee to Jason Curious buys me the right to do.
Soooo...this essentially means your average Caleb Carter fan had over twice the voting power as your average Brent Corrigan fan. Interesting.

He was at Mickys in June 2006 when Brent made his appearance with Jason at "Cocktails with the Stars"
Later when Grant declined to hire him since his personal appearance and physical condition had declined markedly i.e He was Flabby and puffy real attractive on camera when it makes you look 10 lbs heavier anyway!

Frankly, Brent Corrigan is number one with fans because he is genuine, smart, puts his audience at ease, makes time for his fans, actually has a personality, and is just plain a great guy. That's why we like Brent Corrigan.

Actually, Mr. Carter was at our house only 2 or 3 times for a very brief time, prob less than half an hour each time... I told Brent from the start, Carter was a lost cause and to quit wasting his time and effort on him.
Although, I really had nothing personally against the young man, until he started spreading lies and innuendoes about us for his own selfish, self serving agenda!
Too bad for him, it didn't work!
That pretty much sums it up! So maybe one can understand my disdain for a character who had very little knowledge of us, who all of a sudden became the inside expert via Jason Sechrest as to the day to day lives of Brent and Grant.

The more that I read of Brent Corrigans blog, the more of a sincere, decent and honest individual I see.

My first visit out to meet DeWayne in 2006, he had to explain to me who CC was. I had never heard or seen of him that I could remember. When I went out again in 2007, another friend made a point of explained how irrelevant CC was (while I was admiring the white chihuahua.) Still I had never seen anything of this CC fellow.
I think I saw a picture of CC on Jason's once and some years back, I believe he did a guest post for Jason but beyond that I am clueless.
I think it must be a southern California thing to state emphatically how irrelevant unknown people are. I have still never seen this CC guy do anything. Maybe living in Texas is the problem. We don't put much stock in unknown people. I guess that is weird in some sub-cultures.

The thing about Brent Corrigan is that Sean keeps wondering why he gets treated like s#t at every turn. Like the club appearance where the management was less than appreciative, paid him and then acted like they don't care if he performs or not.
Like on his recent movie set where (a) fellow porn models acted like he has the bad flesh eating bacteria or something. They were rude and disdainful.
They all try and make it seem like Brent is damaged goods and needs to be told this fact.
The truth is that he has gotten more press and more fame then they have. They are so jealous they can't stand it. When someone has murdered for the chance to work with you, you are now immortalized. Like some Greek tragedy, you are larger than life. And in a hundred years, people will know that name BC.
But here is the funny part to me. That Sean still expects any respect from these porn non-stars, never beens. It's not that respect is something one never gets having worked in that industry, it is that so many in the industry are not bright and classy people.
Sean should know by now that he is mixing with a rough crowd, one with little education and smarts, and very little or no class. Add in the nightclub scene, a good splash of booze, and what do you expect, to be treated with class, dignity, and respect?
Please Louise get real. Many people in the porn industry end up in rehab, broke, crashing through glass windows to the hard pavement, or dead found murdered. They never get respect while they are doing porn. They must accomplish more than that BEFORE being taken seriously.
Oh never mind, I'm just thinking out loud, and it prolly makes no sense to anyone anyway.
